Three professionals, a grass range and a TrackMan studio, all a short walk from the 1st tee. Lessons are open to members and visitors alike.
Head Professional since 2011
A fully qualified PGA professional with advanced coaching qualifications and twenty years of teaching behind him. Tom coaches the club’s scratch side and most of its single-figure players, and he would rather fix your course management than rebuild your swing.

Teaching Professional
Ellie played county golf before turning professional and runs the junior academy and the ladies’ section clinics. She is the one to see if you are starting from scratch, or coming back after years away and want the basics put right without fuss.
Assistant Professional
In the final year of his professional training, Callum runs the shop most mornings, does the club fitting on TrackMan and takes the Tuesday evening beginners. Patient, precise, and very good with a set of numbers.
Every lesson includes range balls and a TrackMan summary sent to your phone afterwards. Cancel up to 24 hours ahead at no charge.

The junior academy runs in groups by age, led by Ellie Marr with Callum Reid. At most eight to a group, clubs lent for the first term, and every coach safeguarding trained and checked.

Putting green and short-game area. Games, targets and soft balls to start.
10:15 to 11:30
The range and the short-game area, then out to play the 18th.
11:45 to 13:15
On the course, working towards a handicap and the junior competitions.
Everything you need to groove a swing or find a putting stroke, between the pro shop and the 1st tee.
22 bays · targets from 50 to 200 yards
Real turf, never mats. The bay line moves along each week so the ground recovers. Open from 07:00; balls from the pro shop at £4 for fifty.
TrackMan · two cameras · heated
Beside the pro shop, with TrackMan and video for every lesson. Members can book it for £30 an hour when nobody is teaching.
Pitching green · practice bunker
For anything inside 80 yards, with a greenside bunker filled with the same sand as the course bunkers.
Beside the 1st tee
Cut and rolled with the course greens each morning, so the pace here is the pace out on the heath.
